Slow Roasted on the Spit
BBQ Spit roasting is the perfect way to turn any piece of meat into the highlight of your event. Whether it is a hog, lamb, chicken or even venison, the slow-turning rotisserie method ensures that the entire roast is cooked evenly and remains moist and delicious. And, of course, it creates a great spectacle and is most likely the centrepiece of your party.
At Nyama we slow spit roast our meat on either wood fire or our specialist gas equipment. The specific roasting method will depend on a few factors (venue requirements, size of your event etc.). Rest assured, though, we have more than 15 years of experience in the art of spit roasting, so you know you are in very capable hands.
Not only do we know what we’re doing when it comes to the pig roast, but we also take pride in providing homemade sauces and sides to go with it. Not many hog roast caterers can claim they make their apple Sauce & stuffing from scratch on the day. At Nyama we have become obsessed with serving only homemade, freshly prepared side dishes alongside our BBQ’s and spit roasts. You can certainly tell the difference.
