Not so good - VAT added to the price is not good news - your website is focussed on the end consumer, you don't position yourself as a subcontractor where the VAT might be passed on to the end user, so I'd suggest you put gross prices on your website. Had my (even more local) alternative been a bit quicker/more positive in his response and had a better website, he might have got the business - he's smaller so is not VAT registered.

That said, very happy with the overall experience, happy to recommend you, and your Chef was an absolute credit to you.
