Dear George, Sorry to take so long to respond to your email - in fact since the wedding Tim and I have only had 2 nights on our own as the house has been full of friends and family coming and going ever since!  Today the last two leave and our life will now have the chance to return to some sort of normality......whatever that is!! Many thanks are due to Werner, Arnaud, Rob, Andrea and the boys for their part in making Kate and Jonathan’s wedding such a success. Everyone told us how much they enjoyed the food (the lamb in particular!) and the vegetarians amongst us were really pleased to find interesting alternatives to meat on offer for them too! Your staff worked hard and kept things moving well, even when matters weren’t going exactly to schedule.....But I guess they’ve seen it all before and that experience certainly helped us on the day! From my personal point of view, please tell them how much I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help me, way before our guests arrived, when I was running late with everything as the morning’s set up had not quite turned out as planned  -  I was getting quite “frazzled” by the time Nyama arrived and I was certainly grateful for their calm input at that stage!  I also noticed, but had no time or opportunity to tell them, how well they “filled the gaps” with a pro-active common sense interpretation to just getting things done, when (inevitably!) things started to slip from the planned schedule during the dinner and afterwards into the evening.......They were great! Because Nyama just “got on with it” our guests were unaware of any of that and the newlyweds had a ball - which is exactly how Tim and I wanted the day to turn out - so well done to Nyama for producing a delicious meal and, working well as a team, for their part in ensuring Kate & J’s wedding was such a success which our guests tell us will certainly go down as one to remember!  Many thanks and kind regards to all, Chrissie
