Monkeygland Sauce | A True South African Legend
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup water
1 cup tomato passatta
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup Fruit Chutney (prefer Mrs Balls)
4 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
1 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot and saute onions and garlic until translucent | Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes | Serve on Steak, Beef Burgers or anything Beefy.
